Oasis

Their fifth album, 'Heathen Chemistry' was released in July 2002. It reached number 1 in the UK and 23 in the US. The four singles were: The Hindu Times, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Little by Little (all written by Noel), and Songbird (written by Liam). After the release, the band embarked on a successful world tour. In May 2005, three years after starting their sixth studio album it, was released, Don't Believe the Truth. The two number one UK singles were Lyla and The Importance Of Being Idle. Oasis' seventh studio album, was released on 6th October 2008 called 'Dig Out Your Soul'. It went to number one in the UK and number 5 on Billboard 200. In 2009, tensions between the brothers rose with lawsuits being issued and fights. Noel ended up leaving Oasis as he could no longer work with Liam.

After the Britpop years, the members ended up going onto to do other projects. Graham Coxon recorded a string of Solo Album, Damon Albarn focused on the Gorillaz and Alex James worked with Fat Les and co wrote several songs. Their seventh studio album 'Think Tank' was released in May 2003, it was another UK number one and nominated for best album at the 2004 Brit awards. 12 years later, after doing a few reunion live shows, they released another studio album in April 2015, called 'The Magic Whip'. It became a commercial success and praised by everyone.

Pulp

After the release of 'This Is Hardcore' in 1998, they kept quiet until they released their new studio album 'We Love Life' on 22nd October 2001. Scott Walker agreed to produce the record, and this symbolised a new phase in Pulp's development. However, this new effort fell short of expectations and ended being Pulp's last album. Since then Jarvis has worked on his own projects.

Suede

Their fifth studio album 'A New Morning' was released in September 2002. Overall, it took seven different recording studios and four producers and cost them around £1 million pounds. The album was a commercial disappointment which failed to enter the top 20. Only two singles were released, Positivity and Obsessions, and Anderson had stressed his disappointment with their album. They released their sixth studio album 'Bloodsports' in March 2013. It was well received, and the band went on a European tour. Their seventh studio album 'Night Thoughts' was released January 2016. The album was well recieved by both fans and critics, receiving widespread press coverage on its release. It ended being charted number 6 in the UK.

Elastica

After re-recording most of the songs in mid-1999, the band released their second proper album 'The Menace' was released in April 2000. In 2001, the band announced their amicable break up. In 2005, Frischmann emigrated to Colorado and went to university.

The Boo Radleys

The band disbanded in early 1999. Under the name Bravecaptain, Carr has since released sixth albums. Brown built a popular recording studio and then went onto teacher training.

Supergrass

After three years, the band returned with 'Life on Other Planets' in September 2002. The record was not commercially successful but the critical response was positive. Their fifth studio album 'Road to Rouen'  in August 2005. A week prior the first single St. Petersburg for the album was released. The album reached number 9 on the UK chart. The opinions were divided, but they did gain new fans. Their sixth and final studio album 'Diamond Hoo Ha' was released on 24th March 2008, it was their lowest charting album and the three singles: Diamond Hoo Ha Man, Bad Blood and Revel in You did enter the top 40.
